Let's hang out.

How To: Hard Boil an Egg

We know, we know.  This is like the most simple thing in the world.  BUT, somehow it’s also SO simple to flub it up.  Texture can be off, it can be hard to peel the shells, the eggs get green… a lot of things can go wrong.

For years, clients have been whisper questions about this and readers have been sending anonymous emails… no one wants to admit that they don’t really know how to hard boil and egg!

Before one more hard boiled egg gets spoiled we wanted to give you all the deets on how to do it just right.  So, we made the most cut and dry vanilla video ever about how exactly to hard boil an egg.

You can thank us below, using a pseudonym, of course 😉

We made 17 videos covering all the most basic cooking questions.  Purchase any of the Rock the Kitchen programs (including: 10-Minute Meals, Sexy + Slim, Picky People Pleasers and Easy Entertaining) and you’ll get instant access to all of them!

    Thanks x sharing it

  2. Tap each egg a few times to crack its shell, then roll it on a work surface to break the shell completely. Start peeling, dunking the egg into the bowl of water as you go to wash away any bits of shell.Get more hard-boiled egg recipes .

I use a technique similar to yours, minus the vinegar. I have had pretty good results, but once in a while I will have a few eggs that do not peel well. I will have to try your vinegar trick! Thanks!
